Road Pitch

Do you think your invention has commercial potential?  Come pitch to the FreshTracks Road Pitch “business biker” group of experienced entrepreneurs, investors and advisors on Sunday September 25th at the 2016 Champlain Maker Faire located at Shelburne Farms Coach Barn.  Make your best 5 minute pitch describing your invention, the problem it solves, and how you intend to introduce into the market and get some immediate feedback.  The riders will choose a “riders choice” winner from the group who will receive $500 and a Vermont Teddy Bear Biker Bear. The winner of the 2016 Champlain Maker Faire FreshTracks Road Pitch will be eligible to compete in the statewide Road Pitch at Champlain College October 18. Prizes will be in the $4000 range.

The pitch must be no more than 5 minutes in length, include details such as:

  • What is your creation?
  • What problem are you trying to solve?
  • How do you plan to make money doing it?
  • How did/will you introduce into the market?

Judging will take place in the Coach Barn by the FreshTracks Road Pitch Riders. A microphone, computer, projector/screen will be available. Verbal feedback may be provided.
