Stitch-n-Glo is a community materials swap and upcycling (creative reuse) event at this year’s Faire. Stitch-n-Glo will connect the public to a wide variety of textile related makers: sewers, apparel producers, designers, fiber artisans, crafters, etc. as well as offer hands on activities for participants.

Come learn new skills, create and have fun! There will be donated materials and hands-on activities for youth and adults. At the Got Fur? VT Teddy Bear area you can cut, sew and decorate unique furry creations; Locker Hooking heritage crafting with Jennifer Muldoon features making small items to wear or use from fabric scraps; eTextiles high-low tech mashup with Genevieve Gallagher offers hands-on exploration of adding conductive thread and LED lights on fabric; Jeff Baron leads Screen a Bot where you can print a robot design on textiles; transform tees into a personalized carryall at T-shirt Hack with Karen Freeman.

Got Fur? Yes, and More!
Vermont Teddy Bear will be helping participants with donated materials again this year!
